alright, this was due yesterday but was too tired to even try to open the pc. so i went to school today wih throbbing legs and really big eyebags.
anyway, for this year's field trip we went to morong rizal. not so far away but require a few mountains to get to it. so of course, first order of business is checking, "who here has a weak stomach?"
so there i was cringing over those who did.XP
we got to this old church and like the camwhores that we are, took all those pictures while the boys were having their lectures with the lakbay peeps. they only perked up when i told them that if it's their first time to visit a church, they can make a wish.
outside, they were going to build a church, as in build using the pieces of the church made out of soft felt cushiony thing you buy at the craft store. it was so cute. i wanted to try it.
anyway, our next stop was calinawan cave. we had to walk some thousand steps before getting there, so the boys were tuckered out. when we got there, there were tents, catering and lots of people. KAMANDAG was shooting there. what a perfect place for the dragonita to vent.
*weeks and days leading to the field trip*
me: All right boy, don't forget to bring a big flashlight, and make sure the batteries are new or working well.
*day of the field trip*
student: miss narciso, something's wrong with my batteries
me: SINABI NA NGA SA INYO %urtu&*%rey
you get the idea.
so we got into the cave, andit was pitch black. just like the last time we went. i stayed at the back and kept up but admired the view from my very nice "headlight", as compared to my puny dying flashlight from before.
we got out and made our way back to the bus....that long trek.
the buses disappeared.
i knew for a fact that the route i took when i went on ocular was that as we exit the cave, we were to go left and follow the road down that way. so i wondered why our tour guide made us go right. i just followed.
and suddenly there were 37 tired and thirsty boys.
we managed to get to the trail and make our way down towards the river, and that's where they messed around. i let them so they wont fuss anymore.
we finally go to Daranak falls after an hour of aimless walking. my mom said umitim ako. that's good.that's really good. XP
after a quick lunch (with me grumbling as i shoveled it down my throat,) i made my way to the swimming hole.
so you can see little whales disrupting the quiet serene landscape and following aimless teacher crushes while i cant even get into the water because of the cold.
tired, sleepy and slightly smarter no thanks to those IQ games on the way back, i rushed home lest the parents start demanding where their boys are when they know for a fact that the drop off for the field trip would be the school.
sooo....picture time!!!
let me get back to counting my gifts. *clenches fists*
newsflash: i havent been to zambales. i've been to subic, but heck, that was ages ago, like grade school days. so anyway, we got there at some 10 o clock after dinner at our principal's house there (apparently, 1 out of 5 teachers come from zambales), and my GL and the rest of the group decide on a night dip.
it was fun...until i started feeling my body get bitten and stung every which way i went. so i slept. in a room good for three, with eight people. sardine bonding anyone?
next day, i find out, i was assigned kitchen duty at lunch time, so my friend and i trudged to the back and started cleaning fish, making sure the coal wouldnt die and stirring up the soup. and being with old couples, we get 1) life lessons on relationships 2) a bottle of beer and 3) a cup of brandy and calamansi. that was the healthiest lunch i have had in a while. i also made BACHAM. chamba in short, of fish guts and other whatnot.
btw, i know where spongebob lives. he lives in zambales. kasi andaming jellyfish. next...
tapos we walked to a former batchmate's resort a few (actually a lot) kilometers away. not bad. you can see from her stuff that she has a kid. i recall someone telling me so as well, so anyway...i love their shower though.
i was always the first one to sleep. nothing beats an aircon room.
anyway...it was a fun dig...

its okay to be single on valentines, there's no life threat to that. but when you have experienced love, and the power it gives you, you wish, even for just this day, you were with someone who can call you mine.
couples are the standard today, just today. tomorrow they will become everyday normal people melding into the normalities of life. for today, its their day. just give them that.
for those who, like me, are single, its okay. we are here for each other. let the tears fall, let the love letter reading go and allow yourself to wallow. it was fun by the way.
when your ready, dry your tears and come celebrate valentines with me. after all, its about love...all kinds of it.
happy valentines day people. hope you had fun. :)

on the bright side, di ako masyado sumaway. Lakbay kalikasan did most.
on the other hand, you can't really sit down and not know what their up to.
at alam naman ng buong mundo na ang IV-Diligence ay ang pinaka pasaway na klase sa mundo ni Ms. Narciso.
but anyway.
i got to swim, i got to eat, i got to go up a cliff, (with my boys ogling the fact that i wasnt holding on to the rope!go heero yuy power!)i got to get out of the classroom for once and enjoy.i got to see my boys be so thoughtful as to offer their chips, let me keep their money and calling their parents when it was time to go home.
back aching, muscle cramping...
but it was fun...
